Days 111 through 117 Cruise Atlantic and Cross the Equator April 23-29

This was a long, enjoyable stretch at sea.

We had smooth seas all the way.

Some fine entertainment.

Including Le Mime Daniel who came out of this egg as an ostrich.   Photos after the show starts are not welcome, so you will have to take my word for it.

Our Equator Crossing at 5:29 pm on Friday April 26, 2019 was special.  We crossed at O deg. Latitude and 0 deg. Longitude, otherwise known as Null Island.  We were able to take this photo of the weather buoy that is moored here.  Water depth is 16,210 feet.  That must be some cable.

There was a ceremony for those who had not crossed the equator previously

and some of the crew good-naturedly kissed the fish and jumped in the pool.  That’s the Beverage Manager Mathew Fremantle and the Excursions Director Steven Louw.

Not to be outdone, we have the General Manager Sujith Mohan, the Cruise Director Heather Clancey, and the Captain.

Good fun.  Many Pollywogs became Shellbacks.
